National Phlebotomy Certification
Are you already working in the health-care field? Have you done at least 50 venipunctures, and at least 10 skin punctures while working with real patients (not practicing or being trained in a program of any kind) in the last 5 years? Have you always wanted to become certified as a phlebotomy technician? If the answer is YES, then the NPCE phlebotomy certification is your solution.
Now more than ever, employers such as hospitals, doctor’s offices, out-patient labs and nursing homes require medical health-care workers to perform blood draws. To become NPCE certified you must have a clean background check, because you’ll be working with sensitive medical data. If you’re not caught up on your vaccinations and booster shots, you must get the required shots as well as a tuberculosis test before becoming NPCE certified. NPCE recognizes the need for accelerated training for those already in the medical profession and who may be skilled in the art of drawing blood but lack certification. Physicians, nurses, RN’s, LPN’s, LVN’s and Medical Technologists sometimes require extra training with regard to their phlebotomy skills.
NPCE really made my day today. Thank you so much for your help. Your rep was very explicit, and knowledgeable of what you’re doing, keep up the good work.
